When we reopened the factory doors after Christmas, we hit the ground running with our customers and orders—but we also took some time to consider our goals for the year ahead. We asked ourselves: What do we at Kingfisher Labels aim to achieve in 2025, and where do we hope to position ourselves in an ever-evolving industry?

As a team, we broke down our learnings from 2024 and further back, assessed industry trends and customer behaviours, considered how best to future-proof, and settled on five core goals for 2025. These will be our overarching priorities between now and next January…

Foregrounding sustainability and environmental responsibility

As a trusted provider of self-adhesive labelling services, we spend a lot of time discussing things with our clients. We talk about their priorities in tandem with our own. One such priority that’s been steadily climbing the list in the past five years? Sustainability and environmental consciousness, both in terms of the labelling products being commissioned for creation and the methods utilised to create them.

In 2025, we aim to expand our provision of truly eco-friendly self-adhesive labels and ensure that every adjustment we make to our printing processes advances us in this direction. Changes like this happen one day at a time, but we hope to make each day count.

Personalisation and customisation

No two businesses have the same precise needs and preferences for their packaging. Accounting for scale, location, product offerings, branding and positioning exposes subtle distinctions (even between similar companies).

As we enter year two at the new Kingfisher facility, we’re better poised than ever to grant dynamic and bespoke customer support. To make space for packages of provision that bend to give customers what they need, rather than asking customers to bend to get what they need.

Growth and targeted investment

Growth and targeted investment

Kingfisher Labels will continue to pursue growth and expansion in 2025. We are committed to welcoming new customers and ensuring we always have the capacity to accommodate that.

As we grow, we’ll continue engaging in thoroughly researched, well-positioned reinvestment. From staff additions to presses and other equipment, we’ll enhance our self-adhesive labelling solutions with each new financial move.

Automation and digital incorporation

As label printing technology improves and develops, so does our ability to expand our capacity and increase production efficiency.

Though some businesses in this space are wary of digital presses and automated procedures, we know they can work incredibly effectively—especially when they stand hand-in-hand with manual expertise and oversight. By sensibly deploying methods of automation in labelling and packaging as they become available, we free up time to reinvest in other, more crucial areas of our operation.

Maintaining our established standards

As we juggle the various demands of the above goals, we’ll keep one truth at the heart of how we do business: The customer always comes first, and the customer always deserves the very best that we can offer.

To that end, we’ll never sacrifice customer care, communication and prompt complaint resolution. We’ll also never lessen our overall product quality to cut costs or make things easier on our end. Our reputation for providing a consistently high standard means everything.
